Lots of clients ask this question – ‘what do I ‘blog’ about?’ There’s no quick answer, but here are some pointers to get you started.
- Who is your audience? – Before you can start to blog, you need to think about what your audience is interested in. If you’re a wedding photographer, your audience could be couples about to get married or newly-weds. Either way, once you know this, start to think about what their interests are and how you can help them.
- How can you help your audience? – If you’re a car dealer and you’ve established your audience are likely to be car-owners, consider ways in which information you have and take for granted, could be used to help your audience. For example, a quick blog outlining how often car owners should check their oil and a brief description of how, could offer useful and engaging information for your audience.
- What’s newsworthy? – Is there a current news story that is relevant to your business that you can comment on?
- What do your current customers always ask you? – Take this blog for example, our clients at KR-PR Services often ask what they can blog about, so we thought it only relevant to answer that question in a blog!! Use your FAQ’s to write blog pieces in response.
